Go With the Bright and White

Go With the Bright and White

One thing I love about summer is dressing in white along with something bright. Warm weather is here in Florida, so I'm ready to explore color. One of my favorite colors is turquoise. It looks great with white, black, and yes, a bright blue.

My outfit I chose for Mother's Day is based on comfort, as well as color. It's going to be warm, so I'm ready for the heat.

To celebrate the warmer weather, I chose gauze cotton pants that are loose, as well as light weight. You can wear these on a 90 degree day and feel comfortable. I bought these at Cali and York, an online clothing company.

I paired the pants with a royal blue sleeveless shell from Chico's. The shell is one of many I own because they are microfiber, and therefore, comfortable.

My cardi is also from Cali and York and is the same cotton material. I have this cardi in turquoise and in white.

To brighten up my outfit, I added a silk scarf. This is a 40x40 square scarf that I folded in half to form a triangle. I then folded it, so it would lay straight down the front of the cardi.

Instead of white sandals, I chose a natural shade. It's hard to wear white with white because there are so many different whites. If the shoes are darker, they will look dirty with my bright white pants.

I kept with silver jewelry. I like silver with turquoise. I did add a rose colored bracelet for interest.

Bright colors with white pants are perfect for a summer day. Choose a color that compliments your complexion and have some fun creating your outfit.

I hope your Mother's Day is delightful and full of love. As women, we are all mothers because we love with all our hearts.

Happy Mother's Day.
