Faux Leather

Faux Leather

How many of you have leather jackets in your closet? I still have a leather jacket and used to have a leather coat. The problem with leather is that it can be too warm and has to be dry cleaned. Living in Florida, leather is not a smart choice. Rarely does it get cold enough for it.

However, I love the look of leather. Thank goodness for fashion innovation. Today we have faux leather jackets, coats, hats, and faux leather clothes. It's lighter and not as stiff as some real leather items.

If you haven't tried the new faux leather, consider it. My faux leather jacket is one of my favorites. I bought it online at Christopher and Banks. It came in handy during January when the weather cooled. It's light and it can be washed!

The jacket is on sale for $24.99. You can check it out here.

I have also discovered clothes with faux leather trim. I picked up these jeggings at Walmart. I love them, and again, the faux leather is machine washable.

Look for faux leather trim on shirts, jackets, and slacks.

I love my faux leather baseball cap. Granted, it's too warm for Florida sunshine, except in the winter when we have those 50 and 60 degree days.

I chose to wear my faux leather cap with one of the kimono tops I modeled for Daisy Street Boutique. Accessorizing with faux leather is a great way to change up your look. You can see the plaid jacket here.

Now that the spring sales are starting, this is a good time to look for faux leather items. Let the sales begin!

Have a wonderful day.
