Outfit of the Day

I love seeing the blooms of spring: flowers in pots, landscapes coming to life, and the sweet songs of morning birds.

Today's post is a celebration of spring with a reminder that the chilly air is still here, even in Florida. This morning the temperatures required a light jacket when I took my pups out for their morning business. Fifty-three degrees is cool for Floridians.

So to celebrate the crisp air along with the sunshine, let's bring out the spring colors so popular this season: pinks, corals, and yellow.

I decided on coral for my outfit of the day.

I love these bright coral girlfriend jeans from Chico's. Similar ones are here. I bought mine on sale, so watch for Chico's sales. The girlfriend line is one of my favorite choices for jeans. They are a higher rise and have just enough stretch for comfort without losing shape. I actually should have sized down for these jeans. Girlfriend jeans run a little large.

Because the air is chilly, I added my Christopher and Banks jean jacket. You can find it here. I like this jean jacket because it's slightly longer than the tradition jacket.

To top off this basic outfit, I chose to wear a pair of animal print or perhaps they're snake skin print shoes. I'm not sure, but I like the look.

These are Naturalizers, and I bought them at Beall's, the fashion store of Florida. These sandals are comfortable and fashionable. If you buy one item for spring and summer, consider a fun pair of comfortable sandals.

If the weather is too warm for a jean jacket, consider a large scarf draped over your shoulders.

You can find this large scarf/sarong in my Etsy shop, here. I love the corals in this scarf. It's also light, so you can easily wear it when it's warm. Don't forget, this scarf is a great cover up for your swimsuit.

Have a great day, everyone! Please share this post with others. I would like to reach as many as I can. My goal is to share the joys of this time in our lives.
