A Mother's Day Outfit

I have a penchant for figurines, especially the Willow Tree angels and family statues. This particular one is called Wisdom, a child reading. It brings back memories for me because as a child, I was always reading. My mom encouraged me by modeling the same activity and making sure I went to the library on a regular basis.

As Mother's Day approaches, I hope some of my readers still have the opportunity to share the day with their moms. My mother past away eight years ago, so I now have the memories, but I will celebrate the day with Jack.

For those of you who will celebrate with a meal or church or a day visiting family, I have a Mother's Day outfit to share with you. My sister and I just listed it on Etsy. The kimono is actually her creation, and what a great job she did.

The spring jacket or short duster is made from a sheer polyester material and edged with a lovely matching trim. It's a light blue that will look great with many ensembles. You can see it here.

I paired it with cream pants, my beige stacked heels, a white shell from Chico's and my hat for fun :)

Have a great day, everyone.

To all mothers, Bless you.
