I love comfort and I love white in the summer, so why not wear a pair of white jeggings? Jeggings are thicker than leggings, and if you buy them a size larger than you normally wear, you have a wonderful skinny jean look.
Today, I have two outfits to share with you, and they were created with a $12 pair of white jeggings from Walmart. With a little creativity, we can put together some great looks.
My first look is super casual.
I paired my jeggings with a black and white boat top. I love this top because it has a summer look and the stripes create a clean line. Because I'm going casual, I added my black canvas Sketchers. White sneakers would work, too.
My accessories for fun include a black and white necklace, my signature hat with a black and white headband, and a red purse. The red purse adds a pop of color.
I'm ready for a day of shopping or lunch with friends. You may ask if the jeggings are hot. I wouldn't wear these on a hot summer day, but a cool summer day is perfect. The material is not that heavy, but thick enough, so the jeggings are not see-through, as you might experience with white leggings.
I chose a long, white cardigan and a colorful shell. The length of the cardigan gives me height, especially since it's white like the jeggings. The cardigan is Coldwater Creek, and I've had it for a few years. The shell is Chico's. I can't mention enough how versatile shells are. I have black, white, tan, and red shells, as well as this icy blue turquoise shell.
My accessories complement the shell and the white pieces. The necklace is strands of pearls and icy blue to enhance the color of the shell. My earrings are clusters of white beads. I decided to go with white sandals, but I could have worn my nude stacked heels, as well.
It's fun to create outfits with inexpensive items matched with what you already have in your closet. Don' overlook the jegging. As I said, buy them a size larger, if you don't want them to fit tight.
Have a wonderful, creative day!
