Silk Scarves

I finally found a large square silk scarf that I like. I've been looking for awhile, and ended up ordering this one online. It arrived the other day, and I must say, I'm pleased with the scarf.

Why am I so excited about a silk scarf? Well, silk is a natural fabric, as we know; and therefore, it's breathable. It's light and will actually wick any sweat, if you become too warm. I admit, I won't wear the silk around my neck during hot weather, but it can drape down under a collar for a punch of color.

And if you're fortunate to find a large silk scarf (this one is 40x40), you'll never run out of ideas on how to wear it.

The French twist is a simple idea that will brighten your face color. Fold the scarf into a long straight line. You can do that by folding the scarf into a triangle and then folding it 3 to 4 times until you have a narrow scarf. Wrap around your neck twice and knot.

Another reason I wanted a silk scarf is to tie on my purse, and then if it's chilly in a restaurant, I can drape it over my shoulders.

Silk scarves also look great wrapped around your head, and if you feel confident, use it for a belt. The possibilities are endless.

Did I mention that silk scarves are soft and silky against your skin?

I guess I covered my reasons for wanting a silk scarf :) Have a great day and keep smiling.

Don't forget to share my post :)
