Happy St. Patrick's Day to all those Irish and Irish at heart! I'm still recovering from a busy day shopping with my sister yesterday, but I will be offering a special on my Etsy shop as soon as I can get the item up later today. The special is handmade wire earrings made by my sister. We collaborate often. She's the artsy one. I just like to sew!
I stuck to my guns yesterday and bought just basic items for my closet. It was tough because the outlet has some wonderful pieces. Prices are approximately 25% to 50% below retail. Some are items from a season before and others are items still available at the retail store.
I was able to find the classic white shirt I wanted, as well as the Girlfriend ankle jeans. I also snatched up a pair of pull on navy blue shorts and two microfeel tank tops. The tanks are my favorite sleeveless accessory that Chico's sells. The tops have wide shoulders and there's no gapping in the arms. You can't beat wearing them under shirts and blazers. And, if you feel comfortable showing your bare arms, they're a great summer fix. I will be modeling all items in future posts.
But for today, I will show a green item from my shop in celebration of St. Paddy's.
I may have shown this scarf jacket before, but I think it's a lovely spring jacket. Not much green, but it's a flower print of blue and green with a black background. It also comes with a skinny scarf!
Well, that's it for today. If you can find a Chico's Outlet near you, I urge you to check it out. The salesclerks in Ocala, Florida were so helpful, which I've noticed whenever I visit a Chico's store.
Enjoy St. Patrick's Day. We may have reuben sandwiches!
Note: I have no connections to Chico's. I just like their clothes.
